It is not allways easy to cross borders with pet animals.

The United Kingdom, Department for EnvironmentFood and Rural Affairs has published Guidelines for travels with pets to and from the United Kingdom.

IATA, the International Air Tranport Association, has a set of Rules and regulation for air transport of animals.

The US government through the Department of Agticulture and Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service has published Guidelines for travels with pets to and from the United States.

and finally the European Union has a set of Rules and recommendation for food safety, which contain information on movement of animals between the EU member states.
