The total number of infected people are now 20 with 15 deaths, 5 from Thailand and 15 from Vietnam. There is still no signs of human to human infection.

The outbreak is still spreading in poultry and the latest review show that the following countries are infected: Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, South Korea (no information from North Korea, but the outbreak is undoubtedly there), Thailand and Vietnam.

The virus is still spreading in poultry and more provinces in China is reporting the infection.
The good news is that there is still no signs of human to human infection.
The risk to travellers of being infected with the bird flu is therefore still very low, and at present there is no reason to change travel plans for destinations in Southeast Asia.
